My soul is wonderfully, beautifully blessed,
For Jesus the Lord is my hearts honored guest,
And I am invited at the King’s kind request,
To enter His presence and find peace and rest.
At times life can seem like a tragedy,
Interspersed by moments of comedy,
Life has fleeting moments of rhapsody,
Other times it seems lacking in melody.
But life can be a grand symphony,
Filled with joy and a richness of harmony,
If we listen to God who sings beautifully,
Jesus Christ who invites us, “Come follow Me.
NKJV Zep 3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”
Time may heal
But the scars remain
And the Master Artist
Mixes joy and pain
Into life’s rich tapestry
And while I can’t explain
He makes both work for good
And our eternal gain.
NKJV Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
I serve the One so powerful,
He spoke everything into existence,
And changed my sinful stubborn heart,
With His gentle loving persistence.

Ezekiel 11:19 NKJV
Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
I asked the Lord for an answer,
He replied, “The time is not now.”
I wanted to state and debate my case,
But instead chose to worship and bow.
I asked Him for signs and wonders,
To show His love for me,
Then broke down and wept bitterly,
When I remembered cruel Mt. Calvary.
I asked Him to change my heart and mind,
He smiled and whispered, “It’s done,”
“And I’ll do it each day for the rest of your life,”
“I am faithful to complete what’s begun.”

Philippians 1:6 NKJV
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
My mind is sometimes filled with doubt,
My heart sometimes filled with fears,
My soul is sometimes tempest tossed,
And my eyes sometimes well up with tears.
But my mind is always at peace and rest,
And my heart always courage filled,
When the Savior sows His seeds of truth,
In the soil the Spirit has tilled.
