On that first Resurrection Day,

When daylight started to dawn,

Mary saw the risen Savior,

When all hope appeared to be gone,

Then Peter and the one whom Jesus loved,

Ran to the tomb to see,

And found that it was empty,

Marveling at how it could be,

For Jesus fulfilled all prophesy,

Of Moses, prophet, and psalm,

And to all who believe and follow Him,

His resurrection is a healing balm.
