In Grace, Peace, Uncategorized

Jesus walked with me up a dark mountain,
Higher and higher he led,
“Walk by faith and not by sight,”
“For my grace is sufficient,” He said,

“Fear not, My dear child, it is I,”
“Who built this mountain so tall,”
“And I created both darkness and light,”
“And will teach you to soar and not fall,”

So I smiled in the face of the dark abyss,
As the Prince of Peace filled up my heart,
And I realized His presence was the greatest gift,
That my Father could ever impart.

Heaven Sent

In God's Glory, Stuff of Life

She loves to go splish -splash,
In rain filled mud puddles,
Drinking hot cocoa,
And snuggles and cuddles,
With her polka dot blanket,
She is quite content,
She’s a true gift from God,
By His love heaven sent!

In God's Glory, Grace

Though God dwells in unapproachable light,
We can see Him clearly by faith not by sight,
When we close earthly eyes and open our hearts,
We see Jesus, His glory, and the grace He imparts.

Ceaseless Desire

Ceaseless worship from angelic choir,
Their tongues ablaze with holy fire,
Singing Christ’s glory they never tire,
Exalting King Jesus their burning desire.

Rev 7:11  All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

The redeemed of the Lord,
Every man, woman, child,
Pouring hearts out in praise,
By His blood reconciled,
All creation joins in chorus,
Praising Jesus High King,
The curse has been broken,
Hallelujahs now ring!

Abundant and Eternal

In Salvation

Abundant life in the here and now,
Eternal life here and hereafter,
All by Christ’s life, death and rising again,
To all who make Him Savior and Master.

For Jesus is the One and only One,
Who can save us from sin, death and hell,
And we’re called to witness to what He has done,
It’s His gospel of grace we must tell.

Happy

I’d be happy to be servant,
At the Master’s great wedding feast,
To wait on my blessed Redeemer,
And the saints from the greatest to least,
When earth’s four corners come together,
Saints from north, south, west and east,
God will welcome His dearly loved children home,
On that day when all evil has ceased.

In Creation, God's Glory

In a spider web I see Your hand,
As it bends in the wind without breaking,
In the countless number of seashore sand,
In Your air that I’m freely partaking.

I see Your majestic and beautiful mind,
In valleys and high mountain peaks,
In creating all creatures after their kind,
In the vastness of stars Your voice speaks.

I find You in eating my daily bread,
Each day teaching dependence anew,
And live by every Word You’ve said,
You’re my God who is faithful and true.
