Don’t put your faith
Don’t place your trust,
In a son of Adam
Whose end is dust,
Or in earthly treasures 
That corrode and rust,
Nor this broken world
With it’s lies and lust.

But put your hope
In Christ the King,
Who left His throne
To feel deaths sting,
And rose the third day
New life to bring,
And now reigns on high
Rejoice and sing!
