By the precious blood of the spotless Lamb
We’ve been place on a glorious path,
One that’s good, true and righteous
We’ve been saved from Almighty God’s wrath,
For Christ dealt with our great problem
On the cross He took our guilt and sin,
And offers abundant grace and peace
To all who come to and through Him.

If we tried to behold with earthly eyes
The surpassing greatness of Christ,
By His brilliance and brightness we’d be undone
So for now a veiled glimpse must suffice,
For His glory and power are beyond us
And our finite minds can’t comprehend,
So let’s just be content to draw nearer each day
To the God who has called us His friend.
